To The Nines Gallery Exhibition at the BCAE
Maybe you've heard otherwise but Boston is indeed a fashionable city and local blogger and fashion photographer, Martini Severin, is out to prove it. As the creator and voice of Beyond Boston Chic, Severin has spent the last 3 years style-stalking our streets and documenting well-appointed Bostonians on their way to work and play. She launched her blog in February 2008 on a particularly dreary day out of longing for sartorial inspiration. Beyond Boston Chic has has built an active community of people interested in style and how others are dressing and has a readership edging towards 23,000. Martini has a keen eye for spotting truly fashionable folks and an incredible sense of style herself.
We are thrilled to be showcasing Severin's work at the BCAE this spring. "To The Nines," an exhibition of over 50 photographs from Martini's blog, will be on display from Monday, March 5 through Friday, April 20. This showcase is part of our initiative to make art of various mediums available to more people. We hope that you join us for a reception celebrating Martini's work on Friday, March 30 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Be sure to come dressed to impress!
