Happy Holidays!

This year we’re feeling pretty cheery & bright and we’re sending the holiday spirit your way! We’ve got plenty of classes to get you cooking and crafting your way to the perfect season. Grab your friends and family and head to Arlington Street for a great night out.

1. BAKE
Tis’ the season of sugar plums and sweet treats! Head to our cozy kitchens this season and we’ll have you baking up a storm. From Sugar & Spice: Holiday Cookie Workshop to Holiday Cupcakes and Dough, Ho, Ho: Holiday Breads you’ll be well equipped to handle any holiday party. We believe the best way to fend off a chilly winter day is through warm goodies fresh out of the oven and we think you’ll agree!

2. MIX

Prefer to sip instead of whisk? Don’t worry - we’ve got you covered. Domingo-Martin Barreres, mixologist at Market, will be creating some classic holiday drinks in Making Spirits Bright: Holiday Cocktails. You’ll learn how to make a number of staples and taste as you go. This is a class sure to lift your spirits. (**my pick for a great for a night out with the girlfriends)

3. DECORATE
Get ready to deck the halls in Make It & Take It: Christmas Floral Arrangement. Laurie Marino will teach you step by step how to make a professional and long-lasting arrangement. Create the perfect bouquet to decorate your home or to gift as a centerpiece.

4. TOUR
Join us in Beacon Hill for A Very Merry Night with the Nichol’s House Museum & 75 Chestnut. Just stepping foot in the Beacon Hill neighborhood is enough to put you in the holiday mood but you’ll be extra cheery after a tour of the bedecked historic home and a tasting of small appetizers specially prepared for you by 75 Chestnut’s Executive Chef, Mark Ripperger.

5. WRAP
In Season’s Greetings: Holiday Cards & Gift Wrapping Made Simple Dustin Todd Rennells will help you to create homemade cards and wrapping paper that would make Martha Stewart proud. You’ll get a jumpstart on the holidays and leave knowing how to make impressive custom cards and gift wrap.

6. SNAP
Around the holidays the city is lit, trimmed, and pretty as a postcard. Capture the moment in time in Holiday Lights: Night Photography Workshop. Bundle up and explore downtown Boston, snapping as you go. Instructor Chris Padgett will be giving you tips along the way to make sure you get the perfect shot.

7. GIVE
Give the gift of class! With classes to fit every interest; BCAE gift certificates are the perfect present for anyone on your list. Certificates are available in any amount and are good towards any BCAE class. Purchase here.
